## About

I'm Roy — a marketing web developer. It's a deliberately hybrid title, and it covers four things most teams hire four people for. Over the last decade I've used all four to build and rebrand the marketing sites of Elementor, Wix, and now Lusha.

### Design

Figma variables, design tokens and UX/UI calls. I think in components before I write a line of CSS, so what gets designed is what can actually ship.

### Code

HTML, PHP, SCSS and JavaScript written by hand — no page builders. Reusable UI that survives contact with a real team and a real release schedule.

### Marketing

Pages built to convert, then measured — Google Tag Manager, A/B tests, and the SEO groundwork. I ship for teams that count everything.

### Automation

Claude Code skills and CI/CD pipelines that take a page from keyword to production in minutes, and convert a Figma page into editable WordPress.

## Career

### Lusha — Marketing Web Developer (2024 — Now)

- **Production code.** Hand-coded, high-performing marketing pages in HTML, PHP, SCSS and JavaScript — no page builders.
- **AI automation.** Engineered a suite of Claude Code skills that automated the performance-marketing pipeline — keyword to production-ready landing page in minutes, not hours.
- **Figma to production.** Built a token-based design system where every Figma variable maps to a live design token on the site — mirrored components, no drift. Plus a skill that converts a full Figma page into an editable WordPress marketing page (ACF Pro).
- **Self-serve at scale.** Created a reusable Webflow component toolkit for PMMs and designers, and maintain the WordPress codebase through a GitHub workflow with CI/CD across teams.

### Wix — Technical Designer (2022 — 2023)

- **Wix Studio rebrand.** Played a key role in the rebrand, developing optimized, SEO-friendly landing pages with CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+) and Velo.
- **Community references.** Authored CSS guides for Wix's developer community that became go-to references for accessible, well-structured styling.

### Elementor — WordPress Developer & Elementor Expert (2020 — 2022)

- **Rebranding.** Spearheaded the rebranding of Elementor — SEO-optimized, high-conversion landing pages in CSS3, PHP and JavaScript.
- **Design system.** Co-architected the Elementor design system: scalable technical frameworks for brand consistency across platforms.
- **Community & live shows.** Hosted 10+ webinars, in-person meetups and YouTube live shows — lifting engagement metrics and company KPIs.
- **Content & CRO.** Published well-received blog posts and “Site of the Month” features, and ran A/B tests through Google Tag Manager to fine-tune conversion and UX across touchpoints.

- **Agency partnerships.** Partnered with leading design studios to build pixel-perfect sites, e-commerce stores and landing pages straight from Figma — in WordPress, Elementor and Webflow.
